AllStar-Bonus November 2015: How many pagereads did you need on Amazon.de?

Time seems to fly – I just wrote about the AllStar payments in October and now we are already in the middle of December. That means I have new numbers to share, provided by a record breaking number of 38 German authors. As you might not know, Amazon pays a bonus to the 150 bestselling authors and the 100 bestselling books on Amazon.de. That is: to those authors and books that had the most pagereads as part of the KindleUnlimited program.

In October, the book bonusses started at 320,000 pagereads – this time it’s 360,000. To get 500 Euro, you’d have to have around 600,000 pagereads. Getting 750 Euro was a bit easier this month – with “only” 1,5 Million pagereads.

What about the author bonuses? They started at nearly 320,000 pagereads (500 Euro), not much change from last month. The step to 1500 Euro happened to be at 440.000 pagereads. With the bonus, that’s already a net payment of 3400 Euro (not including any actual sales). Not bad considering that it means – there are 100 authors who earned more than 4000 Euro on Amazon.de.

From approx. 820,000 pagereads the bonus jumps to 2500 Euro. It’s 5000 Euro starting from 1,65 Million pagereads. And the final sum of 7500 Euro is paid for at least 2,3 Million pagereads.
